 Sharpsville Beagle Club (SBC) – The SBC has elected new officers but we do not know who they are. Jeff Kremis will contact SBC member Joe Morris to get some information.
 North Deer Creek – No Report
B. Munnell Run Trout Nursery – Bill Stevenson & Ken Tarczy
 Trout Stocking – Bill said they stocked 400 fish between the Big Rock area at Cool Spring Creek, and Neshannock Creek in the Fly Shop area.
C. Banquet – Nick Loprire & Carol Jochman
 Banquet Menu – Carol needs to get the latest offerings and prices.
 Gun Raffle – Bill Melaro summarized the prizes purchased from Shooter’s Supply of West Middlesex, Pa:

 3rd – $150 Gun Gift Certificate at Shooters Supplies
 4th – $20 Ammo Gift Certificate at Shooters Supplies
 5th – Seconds Count Firearms Training Instruction
Shooter’s Supply agreed to put a raffle sign up in his shop and sell tickets for us at $5.00 each or 5 tickets for $20.00.
Nick Loprire made a motion to authorize spending up to $1200 for the prizes, Bill Stevenson seconded, and the motion passed unanimously.
 Other Prizes – R. Natoli explained his plans to build a combination ROD RACK / STORAGE CABINET with a glass topped DISPLAY CASE. All of the cherry wood used to build it is being donated by Bill Stevenson. Dick also mentioned prize ideas given to him by Pete Anthony:
1. Sofa pillows with fishing or hunting scenes
2. Flies tied onto safety pins for use as “Lapel Pins” for men’s suits or for use on ladies dresses
3. New advertising methods that may promote our banquet to new people.
Since we have a new Facebook page developed by Matt Ceremuga, everyone felt that would be a new advertising method to use this year.
 Promoting Early Banquet Ticket Sales – We discussed ways to promote early sales, and decided on giving two BUCKET RAFFLE tickets to everyone buying prior to March 7. They will also be entered in a special raffle with the winner being awarded a $50 Visa Gift Card.
 Advertising Contacts – Everyone was asked to bring newspaper e-mail addresses and other advertising contact information to the December board meeting.

F. Youth Committee – Various – No Report
G. Marcellus Shale – Jim Kearney
 North Dakota Shale – Jim reported that this area of the country is booming, and 755,000 barrels of oil have been spilled there this year. The company responsible for the spills had 11 violations and minimal punishment and fines. The problem results from inadequate enforcement of existing laws due to inadequate numbers of environmental workers.
H. Trout in the Classroom (TIC) – Reg McClelland / Jeff Kremis
 Jeff reported that the next grant period starts in early 2015 and schools can submit requests for funds at that time. All of the participating schools have received trout eggs and have begun the trout raising cycle.
5. Old Business:

 Unassessed Waters Initiative – No Report
6. New Business:
 Neshannock Chapter Membership Meeting – We discussed holding a meeting in January in the Pig Barn Meeting room at Munnell Run Farm. WE had a good turnout last year, and decided to use the same facility in 2015. Jeff will contact a Sharon Herald sports writer to see if he would come and provide an interesting talk and slide show at our meeting. It would be important to have Banquet tickets available for sale at that time.
 2015 Pa Fishing License Buttons – WCO Jeff Giardina reported that next year’s license buttons will be pink in color. Anyone purchasing a resident Pa license during the month of December will get a get a $3 to $5 discount depending on the term length of the license.
