2025 Cabin Fever Meeting
We pulled off our 2025 Cabin Fever Meeting despite the weather. The attendance was down because it was snowing pretty good on the way there but buy the time it was over the rain had moved in and the roads were clear.
The first speaker was Jared McGary the Environmental Education Specialist from Pymatuning State Park. He does a great job talking about the history of Pymatuning Dam and state park. A very interesting speaker.
Second was Nick Micsky, a Watershed Forestry Sawyer with the WPA Conservancy talking about how they introduce "Large Woody Materials" (wood is good) to some of the smaller streams in the state.
We also had two of our TIC (trout in the classroom) Teachers keeping us updated on there TIC project that we sponsored with some of the money we have raised with out banquet.
Carol Jochman fed us all with some great food. If you didn't make it out because of the weather, we understand but you missed an fun and interesting afternoon.

2024 Cabin Fever Meeting
The 2024 Cabin Fever event went off with out a hitch. We had 3 great speakers, WCO Jeff Giardina from the PA Fish & Boat Commission talking about the latest news from PA Fish & Boat. Kelcy Marini, Environmental Education Coordinator for the Mercer County Conservation District with all the latest news from there. And Jamison Conley from The US Army Corps of Engineers talking about Invasive Aquatic Plants and there impact on our waterways. And of course a great lunch.
