Yellow Creek

Yellow Creek is a beautiful small freestone stream. This is tight quarters fishing at it's best so leave your 5-weigh at home and bring out that 3-weigh rod. The stream has lots of big rocks, pools, & fast water. The PA Fish & Boat Commission started stocking trout in Yellow Creek in 2001, the first year in many a year. The Chapter also stocks the stream from the Munnell Run Nursery.

This stream is severely under fished. Beleive me, it offers great fishing for one who knows how to present his fly line using the slingshot method.
