1st Annual Wolf Creek Fishing Derby

 Location – Approximately one fourth of a mile South of E. Main Street (Route 58) on Greenwood Drive In Grove City, Pennsylvania.

- Date – Saturday, May 29nd from 9:00 AM until 1:00 PM.
·
- Registration – At the Handicapped Fishing Deck at 9:00 AM - No Entry Fees and free hats with “Wolf Creek Fishing Derby” logo! Parents will need to sign consent forms to allow their children to participate.
·
- Trout Stocking – Watch us stock 250 Brown Trout sometime between 9:00 and 10:00 AM – Then try to catch them with your fishing pole!
·
- Lunch – FREE Pizza and soft drinks at 12 Noon!
·
- Prizes – One boy’s and one girl’s Fishing outfit raffled off at 12:30 PM, with some “surprise” raffles later.
- Equipment Needed – Bring your fishing rod and some worms or other live bait (artificial lures are also permitted), and a stringer to hold your fish.

- Demonstrations – “Push Button Reel” and “Spinning Reel” casting Demos for those children needing some training prior to fishing – Fish Cleaning instructions for those children wanting to learn how to filet a fish.

- Major Sponsors – Armstrong Utilities, Grove City Sportsman’s Club, and the Neshannock Chapter of Trout Unlimited.
