Spring Stocking – Pre-Season & In-Season Trout Stocking

Few trout fishermen have ever experienced a day of stocking trout, especially early spring. It has been said that "one picture is worth ten-thousand words".

If you would like to volunteer a few hours of your precious time to help the Fish Commission stock trout, please contact Joe Pantall (724.588.7545). You will never forget the experience. Everyone has a great time. Wear appropriate clothing. It's not necessary, but it's helpful to wear chest waders. Click on any image for a larger version in a new window.

I hope the Fish Commission truck arrives before my feet turn to ice.

It's about time the Fish Commission truck arrives. My feet are cold...

Did you see that 22 inch rainbow I just dumped in...

Ray Magensky...ok guys, follow me. REMEMBER WHAT HAPPENED TO THE TITANIC.

Where were these guys when we were stocking trout. Oh well...maybe they will help the next time.

After all, they are doing what it is all about...TROUT FISHING ON COOLSPRING.
