Several "busy beavers" were given a new home this past January. The animals were doing considerable damage to the habitat along the stream.

Stream was stocked with 1,000 trout Tuesday, March 6. A snowy, windy, & very cold day didn't prevent a dozen or so TU and non-TU volunteers from arriving on the scene to assist Fish Commission personnel. TU volunteers were Jim Noble, Ken Tarczy, Larry Wynkoop, Pete Anthony, Jim Rafferty, and Joe Pantall.

February mailbox log entries by trout fishermen indicate a healthy 'holdover' or trout. Also, the stream surveyed Monday, March 5th in preparation for the next day stocking. A fair number of trout were observed feeding on 'Coolspring Goodies'.
