Another terrific banquet was held a few weeks ago. The 23rd annual Neshannock TU banquet was a great success thanks to you. Those that attended, supported, enjoyed, and had fun made it a success. If you did not make it this year (April 7th) it was your loss. The food was great and so were the numerous prizes. I personally came away with a pizza and a video while my wife did better with a prize of a basket full of wine. I hope she feels obligated to cook something worthy of a merlot.
I don’t know how we do it but once again the attendance was within 10 people of 185. This year it was 188 and last year it was 194. Thank you, to all those who helped at or with the banquet. It would not be possible without you. Special thanks to Chuck Moxley and Kim Boal for their tying efforts. The comments were flattering and well deserved.
This is the last issue of "The Clearwater Gazette" till the fall. Please give Pete your e-mail or check our website www.neshannock-tu.org for info on upcoming workdays and events. My goal fishing this year is to get into a least one good hatch of something and stick a few good trout on dry flies. Last year I had a bad case of "you should have been here yesterday, or last week or any other time than now".
