Four members of the nursery's management team will attend a half-day seminar conducted by the Fish & Boat Commission, Saturday, March 3rd. The Commission offers the program each year to share information on the operation & management of cooperative trout nurseries.

Weather permitting, nursery personnel & volunteers will stock the Neshannock Creek delayed-harvest area sometime during the month of February.

The nursery will raise 2,000 rainbow trout next trout-raising year (July 1, 2001 - June 30, 2002). Trout are received from the Fish Commission as 3 - 4" fingerlings.

Nursery is applying for a matching-grant from the Fish Commission to purchase a'backup aeration motor'for the transport box for stocking trout. Also, the same grant will include a request to purchase a utility trailer to haul the transport box and accessories.
