- 2006 Meeting Schedule Aaron asked if there were any problems with the new schedule, and all agreed it was OK.
- 2006 Rivers Conservation & Fly Fishing Camp We have one applicant from Ohio
- 2006 Penn’s Woods “Cabin Fever” event Their event this year will be on Sunday, March 5th at the 4 Points Sheraton Inn, and they invited us to attend.

- 2006 Banquet Tickets Jeff reported that Benjamin’s Restaurant paid for the cost of printing our 300 Banquet tickets this year.
- Budget Report Jeff reviewed the budget Report ending December 31st, 2005. The Budget Report will be filed for future audit.

A. Watershed Coordinator Jeff Kremis/Jim Mondok
- Beagle Club Meeting Aaron reported that our board members were invited to the Beagle Club Meeting on Wednesday, February 1st at 6:00 PM. Joe Morris added that they wanted to have better communications with us.
- Workday April 8th Jeff said that we have a workday scheduled for Saturday, April 8th. It was suggested we have a “signup sheet” at Cabin Fever Symposium because we got a lot of volunteers “showed up” from our signup sheet last year.
B. Nursery Pete Anthony
- Trout Stocking 175 Brown Trout were stocked in the lower section of the Coolspring Creek DHALO area on Saturday, January 7th. This stocking helped to reduce an overcrowding problem in the Nursery raceway. Approximately 1000 trout remain at the Nursery.
- Cooperative Nursery Annual Report Pete e-mailed our board members a copy of the “Year 2005 Pa F & B Commission Cooperative Nursery Facts”. One of the more amazing facts listed in the report was that the “Pa Cooperative Nurseries” stocked 1,056,706 Trout and 150,000 Steelhead in 2005.
C. Cabin Fever - Dick Natoli
- Review Event Dick reviewed the Advertising Flyer, the Agenda, the Lunch Menu, the Job List, and the Table Layout. Corrections were made as necessary.
- Speaker The guest speaker will be Karl Menges, noted Lake Erie fisherman, from New Castle, Pa. Karl’s first topic will be will be about Pike & Muskie Fishing, and his second topic will be Trout fishing.
- 2006 Work Day Sign-up sheets We need to have work day sign up sheets at the membership meeting
- Antique Lure Demonstration Pete Anthony will bring his antique Fly Display Box, and Nick Loprire will check with a friend to see if he can bring his antique fishing equipment display.
- Raffle Prize Nick is getting a “Jet Bag” from Jim Brown that we can use as a raffle prize. The bag would be used to transport wading shoes, and it opens up to provide a “place to stand” when changing shoes. Other prizes include T-Shirts with our TU Logo, Stream Maps, and possibly a kids fishing vest.
- 50 / 50 Tickets Since last 2005 Cabin Fever visitors were confused about the sale of 50 / 50 tickets for the March Banquet and Cabin Fever, it was decided to only sell Cabin Fever tickets, and do the drawing at Cabin Fever.
D. Banquet / Newsletter - Nick Loprire
- Date Nick said the date is “up in the air” because the Hermitage VFW booked a wedding on the same date as our banquet. We discussed possible solutions, and we could stay at the Hermitage VFW with a date sometime in April, or go to the Sharon VFW and stay with the March 25th date.
- Advertising Nick asked for one of the board members to coordinate the advertising while he concentrates on the prizes. Aaron will take responsibility for the Ohio Ads, and Jim Mondok volunteered for the Pa Cable Stations.
- Prints by David Ruimveld Studio Nick discussed the cost of purchasing prints from Ruimveld, both framed, and unframed. Bob Shuey suggested he obtain a price through his Fly Shop, and also some costs on other prints. Bob can bring in prints from his Volant Fly Shop on a “consignment basis”; if we do not get the price we need to make a profit, he can take them back.
- Fly Tiers Nick will invite Kairn Fre as one of the Fly Tiers, and Chuck Moxley will be back again this year.
- Raffle Prizes Rifles, and Muzzle Loaders were discussed as prizes.

- Wolf Creek Fishing Derby Dick proposed a date of April 22nd with a “makeup” date of April 29th. The board approved those dates.
- New Borough Manager Terry Farren is stepping down as the Borough Manager of Grove City. Dick said that he enjoyed working with Terry, and he will be missed.

- TU T-Shirts The board decided to sell the Medium, Large, and XL Shirt sizes for $10.00 each. Since, the XXL size shirt size purchase cost is $1.00 more, they will be sold for $11.00 each.

- Pre-Season and In-Season Trout Stocking Lists Joe Morris said that we could share the information on his Trout Stocking Lists because they were public information. Dick Natoli will e-mail Joe’s lists to all of the board members.
