In Attendance:

Tom Jochman, Nick Loprire, Jeff Kremis, Bob Shuey, Jim Mondok, and Aaron Monroe
1. Opening Comments – Aaron Monroe
  • The proposed meeting schedule for 2006 was reviewed. The January board meeting was changed to January 16th and the April workday was set for the 8th. The schedule will be revised by Aaron and distributed and placed on the web site.
2. Minutes from Last Meeting – Dick Natoli
  • Dick was ill and not in attendance the reading of the November minutes was skipped.
3. Treasurer’s Report – Jeff Kremis
  • Treasurer’s report was read by Jeff Kremis. Tom Jochman motioned to accept as read and was seconded by Bob Shuey. The motion carried.
4. Committee Reports:
A. Watershed Coordinator – Jeff Kremis/Jim Mondok

C. Cabin Fever - Dick Natoli

  • Group Discussion – It was suggested to have a ballot box to vote for officers who’s terms are up for renewal. Announce during event that if you are a chapter TU member to vote during the event. We should guarantee 90 people as attendance for food planning purposes. A donation jar should be placed by the lunch line to collect any money attendees would like to give. It was proposed and agreed upon to add $0.50 to the cost of lunch to cover coffee. We will have a 50/50 raffle at the event with a payout at cabin fever. Jeff will purchase separate (unique color) tickets.

D. Banquet / Newsletter - Nick Loprire

  • Nick would like two people to volunteer to take charge of publicity. One person will cover Ohio and the second will be responsible for Pennsylvania. Aaron volunteered for Ohio and we need a person for the Pennsylvania advertising. Bob Shuey said we will be purchasing two Ned Smith prints “Sting of the Hook”. Also Ron Kessler is donating to the chapter a framed and matted collection of Pa Trout stamps and patches from 1991 – 1995. We will also be buying from Ron a collection of all stamps and patches for the 16 year history of the issue 1991 – 2006. We would need a minimum bid for this of $300.

5. Old Business:
  • The TU T-shirts we review and the color picked was tan in 100% cotton w/o pockets. The size run was: 5 – Med; 20 – Lg; 20 – XL; and 5 – XXL.
