- Beagle Club Bridge Members discussed replacing the bridge across Cool Spring Creek on the Beagle Club property but no one knew if that is going to happen.

C. Cabin Fever - Dick Natoli
- The date was selected to be January 29th; Dick will contact Bob Zikmund at the Hickory VFW to see if that date is available.
D. Banquet / Newsletter - Nick Loprire
- Date for 2005 Banquet Two dates are under consideration, March 5th and 12th. Nick will contact Bob Zikmund at the Hickory VFW to see which date is available. Bob Shuey told us that Orvis Company is not selling Banquet prizes to TU National anymore. Orvis wanted to get closer to the grass roots organizations and they are planning to work directly with the individual chapters; that means we will get a better discount on their merchandise.
- Newsletter Nick is currently working on the next Newsletter and asked for input. Anyone that has news or an interesting article should forward it to Nick.
E. Membership Tom Jochman
E. Youth Coordinator Dick Rickert reviewed his ideas to spark youth participation:
- Boy Scout Fly Fishing Merit Badge Contacted Kevin Bonner, Mercer County Scout District Executive who was in favor of the idea; he will send Dick a package of information on how to be a Merit Badge Counselor. He also contacted Carl Hall from Lawrence County BSA who will work with Dick in that county.
- Mercer High School Conservation Club Bill Chess is not interested in helping out and does not know of any other teachers who would.
- Awards at Laurel High School See “Old Business” section below.
F. Wolf Creek Project - Dick Natoli
- Sign for project The plastic laminate sign for “Contributors and Sponsors” will be completed Friday, October 9th and the wood for the rest of the sign will be ordered the first week in November. Tom Jochman volunteered to help Dick erect the 4 x 4 posts and the rest of the sign when it is ready. The Grove City Maintenance Department volunteered to rout out the lettering on the top portion of the sign.
- Deflector work Joe Morris said that the three In-Stream Deflectors on the City owned side of the stream need to have rock replenished at the ends. Joe caught some young people tossing rock into the stream from the ends of the deflectors and, when he looked closer, saw that rock needs to be replenished on all three of them.
